CREDITS
Credits are the bread and butter of NEHS - each activity or opportunity you participate in rewards you with credits. Once you reach a certain threshold, you'll be eligible for National Membership and eventually, a graduation tassel for your senior year.
Here is a list of various NEHS activities and how many credits you'll receive for participating. You may also request credits for other English-related endeavors (the amount will be up to our discretion).

National vs. Chapter Membership
At RM NEHS, we have two types of members.

Chapter membership is for anyone, regardless of grade, who wants to attend meetings and participate in an English club. The only requirement is attending meetings.

National members are recognized by the official National English Honor Society and receive additional benefits including scholarships, writing resources, and essay editing.

Requirements: MUST be in 10-12th grade

Minimum of 4 credits

Pay dues on SchoolCashOnline ($20 - dues transfers between years, so if you pay once, you'll never have to pay again)
